I have no idea what I'm doing

Hi, I’m Michele Ong host of STEAM Powered and I have no idea what I’m doing.
I’m learning, but there’s always more, especially as I am currently wearing every hat myself. So whenever I attend something for skilling up and I’m asked what I hope to get out of it, I’ll usually answer “I don’t know what I don’t know.”
What’s this for, then?
I like to share what I’m learning. Sometimes it’s boring, sometimes it’s inexplicably quirky (to me), and there’s lots of stuff in between.
You can find a manual of my podcasting journey over at The Rail Yard where I share technical documentation of what I use and a little about how. My blog also has a few scripts and guides for small bits of workflow.
I have taken to posting anecdotal things on my personal Facebook, but I’ve been told that what I share about my podcasting journey behind-the-scenes is interesting and I should make it a bit more accessible, so here we are.
How keen are we?
Realistically, I don’t know how often I’ll have something to share. I have a few things that have already happened in the queue, but beyond that, it entirely depends on well, what happens.
I’m juggling a few projects in the new year, a couple of which are related, directly or indirectly, to this particular space. As such, I presume there’ll be plenty more things to share, but you can expect to hear from me on a fortnightly-to wheneverly schedule.
What would I get out of paying for a subscription?
This publication is free, but if you upgrade to a paid subscription, you will have my appreciation and the knowledge that you’re supporting my creative works. You will also be able to join this community of creators and geek-curious types and post comments. I’d love to hear from you about your thoughts and experiences in this space.
Either way, thank you for joining me on this ride, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
Stay curious,
— Michele
